Repton Dubai, one of the UAE’s most prestigious British curriculum schools, celebrated the official opening of its upgraded campus, unveiling a suite of world-class facilities including the Repton Performing Arts Centre, Repton Sports Village and Early Years Centre, setting new standards in design and innovation and reinforcing the school’s vision to enrich student life at every level.

The official opening ceremony, attended by Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) on September 11th, inaugurated the state-of-the-art Repton Performing Arts Centre, the Repton Sports Village, the upgraded Early Years Centre, and new school Reception.

At the heart of the campus upgrade is the Repton Performing Arts Centre. A world-class facility with a 600-seat auditorium, professional music practice rooms, dedicated dance and drama studios, recording suites and rehearsal areas. It is a cultural landmark where creativity, collaboration and performance flourish. The new Repton Sports Village reflects the school’s ethos of sport as essential to education and character building, with expansive grounds featuring two full-sized rugby and football pitches, a junior field, 200-metre running track, 100-metre sprint track, and a 1,600m² multi-sport astro-turf with central cricket square and nets. Shaded outdoor courts, refurbished indoor basketball courts and an enhanced swimming pool further enrich opportunities for active pursuits.

David Baldwin, Chief Executive Officer of Cognita Middle East said: “Repton’s new performing arts, sports and learning environments reaffirm our commitment to world-class education and advancing students learning and wellbeing. Building on 18 years of excellence in Dubai and over 400 years of UK heritage, these facilities will inspire creativity and ambition, giving our students exceptional opportunities to excel and grow.”

For younger learners, the transformed Early Years Centre inspires exploration and self-expression through imaginative spaces such as the Wonder Library, Imaginarium and Calm Zone, while a striking new Reception provides a welcoming gateway embodying Repton’s distinguished legacy.

Michael Bloy, Principal of Repton Dubai said: “Our new facilities enrich daily life at Repton Dubai. They inspire creativity, performance, and athletic achievement, helping our students refine their skills and unlock their potential both within the curriculum and beyond. This investment goes beyond facilities and reflects our vision to nurture confident, resilient, and well-rounded individuals, where arts, sports and academics together form the foundation for lifelong success.”
