Repton School Dubai will soon open a new, purpose-built Performing Arts Centre. Designed to enhance creative education across the curriculum, the centre will provide pupils from Year 1 to Year 13 with access to professional-level facilities in music, drama, dance and digital production. The launch marks a significant investment in creative learning and the wider school experience.
Purpose-Built for Creative Expression
At the centre is a 640-seat auditorium designed for concerts, productions and large-scale events. Surrounding it are dedicated studios for drama and dance, individual music rooms, and specialist recording and podcasting spaces. These facilities will allow pupils to rehearse, perform and produce work to a high standard, supported by modern equipment and adaptable learning environments.
Integrated into School Life
The centre will support curriculum lessons, instrumental tuition, co-curricular activities and public events. From early music education to senior productions, every pupil will use the space regularly. For Sixth Form students studying BTEC in Production Arts, the centre will provide a live, working environment to develop technical skills in lighting, set design and stage management.

With careful attention to acoustics, lighting, and flow, the layout supports high-quality teaching and performance. The architecture blends traditional influences with a contemporary finish, creating a space that is both practical and welcoming. It will serve as a cultural hub for the school and the wider community, hosting student showcases, regional events and visiting professionals.
