Ms. Hammond is the Principal of Repton School Abu Dhabi, and the Inclusion and Safeguarding Governor of Repton School Dubai. She earned a Bachelors of Combined Science at the prestigious University of Lancaster in 2000, graduating with Honours. She completed the National Professional Qualification for Headship in 2005, and has since served in many leadership roles in the UK and internationally. Ms. Hammond has also worked as an education consultant to regional education authorities in the UK.
Before joining Repton, Ms. Hammond was Head of Secondary at GEMS Winchester School. She was also the Assistant Vice Principal at two other schools, where her responsibilities included leadership of the Sixth Form, pastoral care, and curriculum line-management.
Ms. Hammond’s specialist subject is Science. As a former Head of Science, she is adept at leading a team and significantly improving quality of teaching and learning. She now brings this wealth of experience and skills to the team at Repton School Abu Dhabi, which she joined in January 2018, taking on the role of Principal in August 2018.
