French Trip Blog Part 4
Tuesday, 25 May 2010: Today started with everybody going to the Post Office to buy stamps for their post cards. I think most of them managed the transaction in French. It remains to be seen whether the post cards will actually arrive.
Then off to Eurodisney. The journey took longer than expected as the Metro was delayed due to somebody being ill on the train. But it didn't really matter as we had the whole day. Once tickets were acquired, Mickey Mouse ears bought and group photos taken they were all let loose in small groups. And I hardly saw them again. Space Mountain was the best, followed by Big Thunder Mountain although the queue here was rather long. Some of the girls liked Its a Small World and Phantom Manor proved popular.
We stayed at Disney Village for dinner eating a delicious meal of chicken and rice in King Ludwig's restaurant. And then a final 10 minutes of shopping for hats, presents for younger brothers and anoraks as it had started to rain a little. We didn't get back to the hotel until 10.10 as again there was a delay on the RER. But they all went straight to bed after a very tiring day.
Normal bedtime is 10pm so please don't phone them after this time.
