Repton Junior School Graduation

On Sunday 28th June, 2009, the Year 6 pupils at Repton School were presented with their certificates of graduation.

The achievement of our Year 6 pupils in passing the senior school entrance examination should not be underestimated. For the children and parents alike, the graduation was a celebration of success stemming from hard work and determination.

Nothing worth having in life comes easy and our children have learned valuable lessons, not just academic, but also of character, as they have learned  that hard work pays dividends and that the reward is not just a place in the senior school, but also a day of celebration shared with friends an family.

The graduation ceremony, as one might expect, reflected the traditions of an old English school. Dressed in gowns our graduates heard speeches from the Headmaster and senior teachers before being presented with their graduation scrolls by our Chairman Mr. Khaled Al Muhairy.  Academic prizes were also presented to the junior school graduates.

The celebration culminated in a formal lunch shared with family and teachers. This was a day to celebrate our successes and a day to remember for all involved.
