Repton Dubai - Repton UK Exchange

In our second year of existence, we are delighted to have launched an exchange programme with our sister school in England.
Last Saturday, a party of ten Year 10 pupils from Repton, Derbyshire, five boys and five girls, accompanied by two members of staff, arrived in Dubai for a two-week stay. Meeting them at the airport were the ten Year 10 pupils from Repton Dubai selected for the Exchange, along with Mr Kew and Miss Allen. The boys are all being housed in the Boarding House; the girls are staying with the family of their exchange partner.
The programme for the two weeks is based on full involvement in the life of the school, though with, in addition, opportunities to see and enjoy some of what Dubai has to offer (not least some decent weather!). Thus the pupils are attending lessons, preps and activities, but there are also trips to the beach, shopping malls, Ski Dubai, the Hatta Pools and the Autodrome on the agenda.
The return visit of our pupils to Repton UK is early next term, when, hopefully Spring might have sprung!
