Director of IB
Following the graduation of our first cohort of IB students, Repton Dubai is seeking to appoint an experienced Director of IB to lead and expand the Diploma programme from September 2012.
The successful candidate will be passionate about the IBDP and seek to energise and motivate the Sixth Form, Staff and Parents, ensuring that its requirements are fully understood and met as part of this newly expanded role. Autonomy to develop and enhance the programme will be significant for the innovative and energetic candidate who fills this role. A thorough knowledge and understanding of the IB Diploma, as well as abilities to motivate, lead and build using original ideas and strategies, are givens for this post.
The ideal candidate will have a middle management track record with at least five years of IB Diploma teaching experience gained in an established international school.

As from September 2012, the continued success and growth of Repton School, Dubai is likely to result in a roll of 2500 pupils. Due to expansion and subsequent management restructuring, we seek to appoint the following:
Head of Junior School (1500 pupils)
Commensurate with the responsibilities of the role, the ideal applicant is likely to be an experienced Head with knowledge and understanding of independent school ethos and management.

The post is largely non-teaching and will involve working closely with the Junior School Director of Studies and Senior Management Team to monitor and develop teaching and learning for pupils age 3 -11.

Arabic and Islamic Studies
Repton School requires an Islamic Studies teacher for Islamic Studies A and B. The post holder will work in both the Junior and the Senior School.
Repton also requires an Arabic B teacher to work in the Senior School.

Relief Matron
Repton School are looking to recruit a part time ‘relief Matron’ for the Boys’ Boarding House. The successful candidate will be required to work for 41 hours per week which will include an overnight stay at the Boarding House. The position will be term time only. The Relief Matron will be required to work the following hours each week:
Monday, 10:30am – 1:30pm (3 hours)
Wednesday, 12:00pm – 4:00pm (4 hours)
Friday, 7am – Saturday 5pm (34 hours)
The ideal candidate should:
• Have an understanding and sympathy with boarding;
• Have an understanding of adolescent boys;
• Medical experience would be useful along with a driving licence.
