Repton School Dubai will feature the first live kitchen in the UAE. Meals will be prepared by a team chefs and served to the students by the serving staff.
A team of dedicated kitchen staff prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the boarding students every day. Working off menus that vary daily, the meals are nutritious and tasty, designed to provide all the nutrients and energy necessary for active minds and bodies. The meals are served in the cafeteria where students are seated within their houses.
Breakfast will be served at 7am so they are ready for registration at 7.45am. Lunch will be served at 12.30pm and supper will be served at 6pm. In addition to this there will be a chance for plenty of snacks in the House kitchens with bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, cheese and fruit always available.
The Head chef will look very carefully at the menu to ensure it provides a healthy diet for the physical and mental growth of young people.
He will meet regularly with the Head of Boarding and other key staff to ensure the food provided is appropriate to the needs of the pupils. In addition to this the catering staff will conduct a Food Forum each term with the boarding pupils to get an idea of their wishes and desires for catering at Repton.
Vegetarians and anyone else with special dietary needs will be properly catered for at Repton. The Catering Department will work in conjunction with the Medical Centre to ensure that anyone with food intolerances of any kind is well looked after
