Accommodation
There are approximately 100 boarding places for boys and 20 for girls. The boys are housed in a purpose built block on the main school campus whilst the girls are accommodated in a large and spacious villa close to the school. Each house has a Housemaster/mistress in charge assisted by resident tutors and a matron.
In the boys house, pupils are accommodated in en-suite study bedrooms. Up to Y11, pupils share a room. In the Sixth Form, pupils have their own room. In the girls’ villa, there are some rooms shared between two and some larger bedrooms for younger pupils.
In the boys’ house, there is internet access in all of the study bedrooms, although this is not available between 11 pm at night and 6am in the morning. Most pupils bring their own laptops with them for use in the boarding houses. Pupils are allowed mobile phones but must abide by boarding house rules on usage and by the school’s policy on use of phones during the school day.
In the girls’ villa there is wireless internet access. Again, access to this is restricted after a certain time in the evening and similarly girls must abide by the rules on usage of mobile phone.
The Houses have common areas which allow everyone to come together in an informal setting to relax or watch television. The boys have all meals in the Dining Hall, while the girls sometimes eat in the villa. There are kitchens in each House for pupils to make snacks in the evening; milk, cereals, fruit, bread etc are provided each day.
Prayer rooms are available in the boarding houses (as well as in school).
