Transport
Transport for Repton School is operated by School Transport Services (STS) LLC. All transport services are handled directly by STS, who have an office on the second floor of the administration building at Repton. STS now handle all payments directly, as well as the issuing of receipts. All registration and payment of transport fees should be made directly with STS and all cheques should be made out to ’ School Transport Services LLC’ and not to Repton School. Cheques made payable to Repton School will not be accepted.
There will not be any increase or change in the transport charges for the coming academic year. For those pupils who have already registered and paid their transport fees directly to Repton for the academic year 2011-2012, these payment details have been passed to STS.
All STS buses comply with RTA requirements: the distinguishing yellow colour, speed control systems, stop arms, seatbelts and many other features. The buses deployed at Repton School Dubai have Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) systems that enables us to monitor the movement of the buses at all times.
All bus drivers will have a “School Bus Driver Permit” issued by the RTA, and each bus will also have a bus conductor who has undergone extensive training from STS and will ensure student comfort, safety and security.
All pupils must carry a bar coded identity card. Children will swipe their cards on entry to the bus thus providing accurate registers of who is on each bus.
