ROBERT HOLROYD

ROBERT HOLROYD

Robert Holroyd took up his post as Repton School’s 34th Headmaster in 2003.

He attended Birkenhead School before reading Modern Languages at Christ Church Oxford where he was Captain of Cricket in addition to being a keen soccer player and choral singer. He began his teaching career at Oakham School and the Anglo-Colombian School in Bogota, Colombia, before a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education led to his third teaching post at Radley College, Oxfordshire. There Robert served as Head of Department and Housemaster for 10 years before moving on to take up the Headship of Repton UK together with his wife Penny and two daughters Eleanor and Joanna, both of whom are pupils at the School.

Robert is a passionate internationalist who had been committed to the growth of Repton Dubai from its outset. As a Governor of Repton Dubai he makes frequent visits to the School and is working closely with the management of both Schools to forge ever stronger links between the two.
